I get what you guys are saying about the "Top Daydreamer" thing. It's more of a joke than anything serious because we're all equally irrelevant in Adele's eyes. Just kidding, but seriously... It's no big deal. Although you have to give me some credit.... I bought every edition of Adele's albums with my own money, not my parents', except for the ones that I got for Christmas (in response to Daydreams' one comment, which I conveniently can't find now). It took a long time, though. I actually started off with just the standard edition of 21 before I became a die-hard fan. I got Live at the Royal Albert Hall and 19 for Christmas, and when the Target deluxe edition of 21 was released, I bought it and gave my standard edition to one of my good friends (I actually used it to ask her out because she wanted the album, so I put a note in the booklet, told her to listen to "One and Only", and then read the note and it said that that song perfectly described how I felt about her, although she didn't feel the same).
Anyways... About a year or so later, I found the "Skyfall" one-track CD single at an FYE and picked it up for like, $2.00 and soon enough I was going online and buying every edition of the album. I bought the iTunes version of 21 in order to get "I Found a Boy" and I ordered every CD single (including the two-track version of "Skyfall") online, and I recently completed that goal with "Make You Feel My Love", which I bought for $100.00 after months of looking for it (of course, I recently found it online $60.00 cheaper, but oh well). Anyways... I do think I deserve a little credit for all that dedication. I have every edition of her albums (including digital and vinyl), all of her CD singles, I have a website about her, all of her magazines, both of her official sheet music books for her albums, some rare posters, and loads of other stuff. Not to mention I got to interview her touring guitarist, Tim Van Der Kuil.
I'm not saying I'm the biggest Daydreamer out there, but I do think there is something to be said about those who go above and beyond to do this for her. I know people are on a tight budget and whatever. I don't think anyone is as insane as I am in order to spend months looking for CD singles online like that. But I feel like I owe something to Adele because she's changed my life in so many ways, and I think it's really a cool thing to have. I treasure my Adele merchandise (especially the CDs) with my life. She's just changed my life in so many ways and is such a huge inspiration for me, so I don't feel stupid at all for spending so much money on her. I would spend millions just to spend 5 minutes with her.
Reading this honestly made me happy. It's great how much Adele changed your life
