Just like IIWAB got overshadowed by Single Ladies.

And since it's her 3rd/4th single, it got even less hype which means it will probably do even worse then IIWAB.

I hope it will actually do better then Diva and IIWAB but it doesn't seem like it will :-/.

Single Ladies is too huge right now. Halo will be added to many stations once we reach its adds date, but it's going to take a while before it takes off. That's the curse of releasing two singles at one time.

No, I meant "Halo" will flop. I think a peak in the top 30 somewhere, maybe a top 20 peak. But it won't have legs. This is more than a curse of releasing 2 singles. "IIWAB" was already gypped by "Single Ladies", and now "Single Ladies" will gyp "Halo". Then, of course "SL" won't just DIE, so the next single after "Halo" will be released and it'll bomb. This including the possibility of "Diva" crossing over, which is very strong.

The only way "Halo" is a hit is if they give it time to break through "Single Ladies" atmosphere. But with 4 singles released and another 2 already set, I highly doubt they'll slow down.

Hopefully "Circus" begins to rise. It is the perfect time as "Womanizer" begins to drop (slowly!) "circus" becomes huge.

But seriously, for Brit this is amazing. She has two simultaneous hits!! I expected "Womanizer" to be GONE before "Circus" blew up the charts.

I know, looking back you would never expect this to happen with 2 Britney singles (peaks on hot 100, airplay...)

it's great and Circus is steady on digital and now airplay is increasing so fast
so i predict a jump to #8
