I'm listening to the Danish national final songs (on YouTube) and the few ones that have a chance to qualify aren't even top 10 material.
Anja Nissen - "Never Alone": generic, cheap, dated.
Bracelet - "Breakaway": they sound and look like they come straight outta 2008. A watered down version of This Is My Life by Euroband, the Icelandic entry of that year.
David Jay - "Rays of Sunlight": not another Basim/Guy Sebastian, thank you.
Jessica - "Break It Good": it would be cool if we were in 2001.
Kristel Lisberg - "Who Needs a Heart": a bit forgettable for now, but it'll probably grow on me.
Lighthouse X - "Soldiers of Love": yawn, an even more boring version of Finland 2014.
Muri & Mario - "To stjerner": the worst one

that post-chorus "nanananajnana"

delete it FAT!
Simone - "Heart Shaped Hole": despite the messy title, this is by far the best song. It would easily snatch a top 15 placement in the ESC grand final.
Sophia Nohr - "Blue Horizon": this song totally says nothing to me, the music and her voice seem to go to two completely directions and it's overall boring, definitely the worst after the To stjerner one.
Veronicas Illusion - "The Wrong Kind": another song with a dated sound that would've worked five years ago.
