That's a good question. I think that's up for debate right now. Obviously the whole beginning of the month thing isn't working. It's out of control to have like a gold rush for new threads right before a new month begins.
At the same time, I don't really want those threads to go on forever. The idea of, say, "The Official Britney Spears Discussion Thread" makes me cringe, I hate it. There's gotta be a better way to organize this stuff.
Right now in Music News, we have 3 types of threads, News, Streams, and Leaks. Maybe we need to look at this and think about how we can do it better. I was thinking something like, Albums, Singles, Tours, and Other Headlines.
What do you all think? How can we make sense of this?
P.S. The Charts forum could also really use a new thread type for chart news/artist sales stats, for people who like to keep track of how their favorite artists are selling. The thread about The Fame going Diamond is a good example.

But that would mean a rigorous one-by-one clicking to each posts I made if I really wanted to find out who reacted to my statement. Thanks, again! Or maybe TC can fix us a new function that's patterned from a Twitter feature which allows you to exclusively search all the replies under your posts?
