It's hard to believe that it happened in real life on
multiple occasions. It just doesn't seem plausible at all, you'd think there would be a point when the manager would stop and request that an officer be present. It doesn't make sense to
me to do all that stuff behind the phone; then again, I would probably feel different if I was thrown into that situation suddenly.
It's kind of interesting to see how much we bend to authority and how fearing we are of it. There are people who will literally
bend our morals
just to.. well, comply.
I want to say something but Onika isn't at the "good" part(s) yet and I know he'll be tempted to highlight the spoilers, so I'll keep zipped and wait for her to finish.
