8.1m jazz albums were sold in 2012. That number is probably down to around 6m in 2014, but we won't have access to numbers before January or February.

So yeah, C2C is already at 6% of this year's sold jazz albums and will end at around 10%.

Assuming that Jazz as a genre declined at roughly the same rate this year as it did last year, C2C would currently make up approximately 6.2% of US sales in the genre if classified as such. Assuming the same holds true for global album sales, then C2C would likely make up approximately 8.32% of global jazz sales this year. These are some slightly rough calculations but they're pretty close to what the actual values should be.

The 2013 Nielsen report became available on January 9th this year, and jazz album sales were at 6,656,200 with a decline of a little over 18%.
