Perhaps unsurprisingly, "Ready to Start" was the first song the band wrote for The Suburbs. It was performed at the 2011 Grammy Awards just after the band won Album of the Year. The song was also performed at the more iconic / relevant / important Brit Awards shortly after.
The song was also averaging at a perfect 10 until Superiore's rates.
