I agree with you both, tbh. Except Under You and Area Code are pretty equal to me, Under You sounds a bit better for now, but since Area Code is unfinished and it still needs a verse on it then I have a feeling I'll be slayed.

Also, my theory. JAY Z COULD BE ON AREA CODE. I mean, first he releases it, asks for someone to put a verse on it.

Thanks havefaith! Him selling out Terminal 5 is a big deal; I know the name isn't as big as Madison Square Garden but it's definitely noteworthy.

Nick needs to stay away from Roc Nation Island has done a good job of building him; something Roc Nation fails at. At most do a couple songs with Jay or maybe even let Roc manage him but nothing more. He still needs to build his career more.

But Jay was right although I like Nick better than JT

Yeah, I agree. I want Nick to get the Jay collab and I think it's VERY likely.

He was at the Roc Nation brunch this year but I doubt he'll have something to do with it, even tho he changed his icon to blue when Tidal got released but He'll stay in Island for sure, he has David Massey & Charlie Walk and even more now that he also has Safehouse Records under his belt and the label has a deal with Island and Republic.

Don't Make My Choose has a nice old skool vibe, but ofcourse the studio could be different, since this is with a live band.
Under You sounds great, already enjoyed the other live video's we got.
Area Code is very different for him, but I love it. Though I hope the tracklist will be good thought out, since every track has been very different so far, with Area Code as extreme. I know Selftitled was also collective, but it fitted vibe wise.

I loved Area Code upon first listen. I wasn't expecting him to tackle that sound. I like Don't Make Me Choose, and I'm sure the studio version will only make me more fond of it. I'm reserving my thoughts on Under You until I hear the studio version. I was a little underwhelmed, but I think it just may be the video that didn't really capture the song or do it much justice; so, I won't count it out yet.

I don't know how I feel about Don't Make Me Choose. When he performed it I couldn't understand hardly any of it. I was like "oh boy the mush mouth is back" I also have bad auditory comprehension so I suppose that helps. I'll just have to read the lyrics a few times maybe then I will see or hear the studio version.
Under You (I didn't know that was what it was called) was easy to understand since he had the visuals of the word on the screen but still don't know how I feel about it either. This may be the one I like after a few listens.
Area Code isn't my style so I don't think I'll like it.
