Hello, cute Smilers!!! My first album ever bought was Breakout. I stanned so hard for her until the Bangerz era. I liked 'We Can't Stop' but the music was so underwhelming for me I deleted the album. 'We Can't Stop' is still fine for summer. It had nothing to do with the image she projected but with the music. Hopefully she will release some good music in the next era.

I was just wondering: how did Miley get out of the contract with Hollywood Records so easily? I mean, Selena and Hilary had to come out with a greatest hits album to get out of the contract, but how did Miley managed to do it without this type of album?

She only released 2 albums - Breakout & CBT (+ TTOOL but that was an EP I believe?) with Hollywood Records, without counting the Hannah Montana ones, so how did she do it?

And on another topic, last week I was watching the CBT DVD which was a documentary with the concert in the O2 Arena in London, and she said that her next album at that time would be her last one for a while (CBT) so she basically predicted her future
Or was she planning to go on a break after CBT?

To answer your first question, either her contract was somewhat tied into her Hannah Montana stuff or she bought herself out the label. Her TOOL EP produced one of her monster hit bigger and she was already ahead of Demi and Selena in the albums department ever since Breakout. Even thought CBT didn't do as well it still did tremendously well in Europe and South America.

To answer your second question I think she was planning a break, since she paid for the CBT era out of her own pocket where Hollywood Records refused to support it.

LOL everything from DP wasn't that bad. I mean can we still appreciate some of the songs she came up with on her own and produced such as Lighter and Pablow... don't be so closed minded also thanks for the intro, glad that y'all welcome new Miley stans
