Give it time, she's a brand new artist to most Americans and stations are probably playing the song for the first few times. Not many people will buy it based off of one listen when she's an unknown.
The next single will be Lies, she's pretty much confirmed it will be a single at some point and P&C is looking like its going to flop big time in the UK so they'll probably pullout their other Dr.Luke "smash"!
Its doing terribly, its not even in the top 500 on iTunes and its not being played on radio. Its out officially in a few weeks and Radio 1 haven't playlisted it yet, which makes me think they're not going to or its only going to make the C list on the week of release.
I don't think it will make the Top 40 and I wouldn't be surprised if it does a Shampain.
I think that's quite a pessimistic view... I think P&C has a lot of potential with some promotion and as long as it gets a decent playlist on Radio 1 I still think it could chart in the top 40... But then again, I'm an extremely optimistic person :P
Let's focus on Primadonna in the U.S. for now. We worry about P&C's fate once July comes, which isn't looking very pretty to be honest, but I still has a shot and I highly doubt it will flop as bad as Shampain did.
