I like Adele (it'd be very difficult to dislike her bc she has an amazing personality) but I'm not impressed by her album nor do I think anyone else is. Lol it's literally a retread of 21 but obviously not as good. WWWY is supposed to be a SLY but clearly does not pack the punch...maybe because it's not as genuine? Who knows.

This is literally how I feel. I don't dislike Adele at all, but WWWY does nothing for me whereas SLY was instant the first time I heard it.

well, this is just a discussion regarding personal taste.
if i were to decide, hometown glory would be #1 for 20
weeks, but it weren't.
my observation is just that WWWY has gotten massive love and acclaim, from fans, GP and critics alike. that's why i don't really get the argument. however, it's not as instant and perfect for radio as like SLY and RITD, or Hello. that i agree with.

Uhmmm... So you're not impressed with the 3,3M first week album sales, nor the 8,03M sold so far ONLY in the US? Okay sweetie, call me when someone else does better than that and maybe impresses you...

I believe Adele is more than fine with the success she's had and if WWWY goes #1 or not, it really does not matter at this point, she's still being more succesful and liked than her peers.

i think she means the quality of the album tho..

but the reviews for 25 has basically gotten the same scores as 21, so it really comes down to personal taste. and there's no right or wrong in that department
