I think people take her a bit too literal. She alot of the time overexagerates. She was bullied and was considered uncool by her peers is about all I'd take from her statements. She also said that she's Italian and we don't get married until we're like 50.
What I really find sad/funny is all the celebrities now saying "I was bullied" and now have a strong attachment to fans and giving them special names as well as preaching to be yourself. I listened to an interview this morning where a certain pop artist said all 3 of those things in a 5 minute period.
