Making up a melody is a million times easier than making up a great lyric, so I'm sure everyone here can do it. Just look at a line and make up a way to sing it. There are a million options for how to sing a line. You don't have to know the notes or anything. Just come up with something til it sounds pleasant to your ear. The best melodies are fun to sing.

You can record it as opposed to you writing it down. So you could record yoursrlf going "da-da-da-la-la-la" whatever and continue to build off of the recording.

I didn't say it's easy. This is a competition so obviously it's going to be hard at points. They're called challenges for a reason. PH is also a tool to help you learn and improve your writing, and seeing as many of you have no idea about melody or how to write one based on your posts, then consider it an educational blessing and a step towards you becoming a more well rounded and informed writer!

You don't need to literally write it, f. Just create one is what was meant. That's why the recording is asked for, because that's how you present the melody through the singing/instrumental/etc.

Instrumental 7 is my least favorite (well maybe 8) so I don't know how to feel about the stanning of it. Also, I made instrumental 6 for someone to write their own "Love on the Brain" so someone, please get to it.
