She did. There was an interview saying she had an idea of what she wanted to do. And seeing that the director turned out to be the uncreative Shane, I'm pretty sure Kelly's idea was executed to the T.

but look at the good side she is trying and doing something to look beautiful.

I cringed at the hugging part with those people, lol. But I liked it.... didn't love it, but it wasn't a complete miss. The concept fits the song.

It kind of reminded me of what Kelly said about it in one of the early interviews from this era. They asked her "Which song would play during the closing credits of a movie about your life?" At the 2:37 mark

Kelly failed to deliver. That's why I'm in a bad mood. You would think with all the money WDKY made, the end product of the follow up single would have been shot more glamorously with a better treatment and director.

It's funny how some stans fail to realize that not everything Kelly touches is gold. There are people better suited for certain jobs and writing a video treatment is not something Kelly should be doing if this is the best she could come up with. Shane should really disappear from this world. He brings nothing new to the industry and will forever remain as an irrelevant, talentless hack with no vision.
