Has Jone/Taylor ever gotten immunity? I don't remember, but if not then he's really following his fave's footsteps as Taylor took 5923583 singles to finally top tha chart. Jone's time will come.  We are never ever everrrr....

This is literally the first time I voted off Taylor, I have nothing against her or you. In fact, I love all of the remaining artists and members. It was just a vote (that didn't even change the outcome, you still wouldn't have gotten immunity)
I comment on this whole theory of me rigging this for Katy too much. I would never cheat, it'd be a waste of energy to host the game just to win it myself. I just wanted to proudly represent Katy like I did the first and third season (Rihanna in the second). I've participated in every season, I didn't think it'd be a problem this time around.

This one is for you guys! Georges stated that he'd like a dual round and Jone wanted a Rock theme, so I took that feedback, and here we are. I felt that both of these themes were too weak to stand on their own (they were just separate rounds at the beginning), especially in the final rounds, so I grouped them together. Send in two songs: one that reaches many groups of people and uplifts them, and another that is heavily driven by guitars and lyrics. I've discussed both themes with multiple members, and they agreed its fair and not in anyone's favor. If you need help with selecting songs, please PM me. I can help give feedback and help you even pick a song.
Also, since this is essentially two rounds grouped into one, another double has to come with it: the final double elimination. Before you kill me and claim that Round Seven was the last double elimination, please refer to the message that came with the theme post in Round Seven:

Emphasis on "for now". This has been planned since the beginning. It's only because this round is two themes in one - if they were separate weeks, 2 people would still be eliminated, if that makes sense. Please don't hate me
PS: We will be voting based on how cohesive both songs are to the theme. If a person submits a very strong song for one theme, but a weak for another, they should be eliminated, and vice versa.

I used an acoustic version (iTunes Session) of ACH in the 4th round and I didn't know that I wouldn't be able to use the original later on .

I'm thinking that since were so close to the end, maybe we can reuse a song one time only instead of just being able to do so for the final round, so if you wanted to reuse a song now you could, but then you can't later on, if that makes sense?
What do you guys think?
