That's definitely reasonable. But I think that, to some extent, we need to take care of our worst-off citizens, especially when they have been affected by circumstances (such as losing a job) beyond their control. Poverty breeds more poverty--and other problems as well.

I doubt it would ever happen like that, but there is certainly an interesting ethical dilemma in raising living beings just in the service of other, more powerful people. Kind of reminiscent of the current treatment of animals across many industries.

Being honest here, I personally don't think Obama has done a good enough job as president. Granted he had a big task in front of him, but IMO he's made things worse. What has he done to create new jobs for the American people? None that I know of yet.

Having said that, I'll give him the 2 more years to get us back on track....if I don't see progress made, I am not voting for him in the next election and regardless who he is up against, I will vote for the other party.

Well Republicans are now in power. Creating a stalemate between Congress and the President is never a good idea. Obama doesn't have much of a choice but to cave in quite a bit now to Republicans. We may be better off for it since both sides have to finally work together.

Obama has done an ok job as president. I don't really have much more to say about it. He hasn't been great but also hasn't been bad.
