A dark horse perhaps? Winona is the Gym Leader of Fortree City and a very cute character. Let's get into the reason she's here, her design. She looks great, even better in the remakes and they even modelled a reductive, ugly new leader like Skyla after her. Her team is very cute too, 4 fully evolved birds, including an Altaria than can and will set up and sweep you? She redeems flying types from the pushover Falkner and joke Skyla. Her gym's okay, nothing special. Winona is graceful, but doesn't have that much personality as she prefers to left alone, as you see her, on the Mauville Towers relaxing in the breeze. Maybe too high, but I ain't mad.

"doing what Falkner could never do", true that.
