CHALLENGE #10 THE TRACK CHALLENGE
DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUN. This challenge from S5 and S6 has returned. Your challenge is to write (almost) a full song by yourself. You will pick an instrumental and write lyrics and a melody to accompany it, similar to what Taylor Swift did with "I Wish You Would" and Katy Perry with E.T.
Before you all freak out entirely, let me tell you what we are grading you on:
- Your lyrics
- Your melody
What we are NOT grading you on:
- Your voice
- The quality of your recording (within reason)
You may record as little as a verse and a hook, and as much as the full song. If you are not comfortable with singing, you may play your melody through any instrument you please. We will have people here to assist you in recording, and creating a melody (including the return of swiftie13 as a mentor!). However, you must write a full set of lyrics. In your PM for this round, specify the instrumental you choose, include a link to your recording on whatever format it may be, and your full set of lyrics.

What I love about this challenge is that it'll change and challenge your method of writing completely. I love it! A true reverse warhorlian experience.
