Yesterday was the day of my life! The show was so great! The tour reflects ARTPOP so good!
Also, the duration of the concert was almost 2 hours. Y'all were saying that the concert was very short... So in Antwerp, it wasn't at all!
Live, she's brilliant, and especially when she sings her acoustic set on the piano. Her voice is so beautiful!
The show was energetic and the lightning was amazing!
I also need to say that the venue was packed! It looked like the show was sold out! (few hours ago, tickets were available)
I posted my review on GGD but I will post it here too:
When we got there at 17:00 it was already announced on the radio at 16:30 that 2000 people had gathered for the Lady Gaga concert in Antwerp. It was indeed packed at the entrance. Around 18:15 - 18:30 the gates opened and it people sprinted for their lives to get a good spot in the GA.
When we got there the whole middle section in the GA, from the stage at the front to back of the middle "horizontal leg" of the catwalk that is in the GA was filled up. We decided to stay on the right side of the catwalk leading towards the piano, it was a decent spot.
The GA and the rest of the venue were filled up pretty quickly, even when Starlight played there were only 2 sections left to fill on both sides of the stage.
Once Starlight was gone (my boyfriend thought I was joking that she only played one beat throughout her set...teehee I didn't lie!) they played some trap and EDM music and everyone was really dancing and generally high spirited.
People started to randomly using their flash light of their phones and waving, such a great sight which I captured, you can tell everyone was feeling it!
She came on 35 minutes late but that was all forgotten when she popped up like an angel from the sea. I started to weep and scream, my daughter was screaming, hell even my boyfriend was screaming his lungs out!
Everyone in the GA was singing along and screaming, it was magical!
She swiftly moved on to GUY and was not sloppy or lazy at all, she gave it her all the whole freaking night.
Both my daughter and me were singing all out with Donatella since it is one of our favourite songs on ARTPOP and even Asiel came very close to us
Venus was a true highlight of the evening, maybe cause the big flowers popped up and it just added a bit to futuristic fantasy of love.
The whole audience was pumped up when she announced Just Dance and people were freaking out even more then they heard Poker Face. This is a song that will be remembered forever. I saw elderly swaying from left to right with their hands above their heads, young girls on the 2nd ring on top getting their life, signature song definately!
She danced the whole routine like she used to and it was definately not half arsed, please notice also how EVERYONE in the seated sections was also standing:
I personally loved DWUW a lot, especially torwards the end when she let her voice shine without any backing track and let everyone in the audience, monster or not appreciated that strenght of her voice.
She looked straight into my camera!
At the piano she performed You & I, Dope and Born this Way, she didn't bring anyone on stage but she did bring her game especially during You & I, she was standing up on her bench, put her leg up, put her leg on the piano, ran across the catwalk, it was awesome!
Edge of Glory and Judas were as short as they before so no changes there. You could tell that Aura is a Little Monster song, the rest of the audience didn't sing or dance to it.
Alejandro however was again a song that would bring the whole venue out of their seats.
So did Bad Romance, I was looking around me and everyone was singing to it. Picture this: 2 slightly overweight white men in white washed out t-shirts and jeans, shoulder to shoulder singing the lyrics to eachother with passion...it was hilarious!
Next was Applause and Swine. Applause, again, known by everyone but Swine a fan fave. Our feet hurt at that point but it was that one song that managed to get us jumping again. Even my boyfriend liked it and he doesn't like Swine on the album.
Then she was gone. Some people started to leave but the GA didn't move and most of the venue seemed to know there was gonna be an encore.
It only took her a few minutes to come out and sing Gypsy. Fans and non fans were dancing to this song.
She brought 2 people on stage that made 1000 Gaga dolls with outfits and everything.
And so the show ended, it was amazing. If I could I would go a second time cause I feel like I must have missed so much, I didn't know where to look and what to feel. It was in such a high speed that before you could grasp what she was doing and where she was it was already over.
However it was definately worth every penny and more!
PS: if you have GA tickets please wear something light or something you can take off easily. It was not super hot yesterday but I saw a few girls being carried out cause of the heat.
The 2 people Gaga took on stage yesterday were that guy with his mom from spain that is making gaga dolls etc? i think so, she took them on stage again on born this way ball and once again in the same tour backstage..well done!

First off I was quite possibly the only one who enjoyed Starlight's act. The beat was good, set the mood for a rave but should have been 20 minutes instead of 45+, it dragged on for too long. That said, having in mind her BTWB set she was much more enjoyable this time around.
So I had GA tickets, managed to get first row (which was still pretty far from the stage thanks to the huge damn empty space between Golden tickets and GA). I would have gotten golden too but tbh I wasn't excited in the least about the show (I got the tickets a week before the show, while during BTWB I got them 1st day).
Honestly? She blew me away. Even my bf and his friend (not Gaga fans) were speechless. They never thought she actually had such an amazing voice and they were stunned by how great a show she put on. Unexpected slayage. Suffice to say they're both fans now. Also, I won 2 seated tickets and gave them to friends who only came cause they had nothing better to do, not even casual listeners. (They only knew the singles from ARTPOP) They both loved it and one of them even posted this on Facebook: "I bow down to Lady Gaga, one of the few great performers with an amazing voice."
Born This Way was everyones' fave part. It felt intimate and emotional without coming across as too theatrical (which I thought the BTWB was). She went crazy with all the Greek words, something that made us all smile, and with a Greek flag she picked up. She was also quite playful, using a strange kiddy voice at parts like when she broke her mic by spilling water on it.
The ARTPOP songs felt so much more organic live, and I enjoyed each and every one of them except for the awful Donatella. I didn't even bother filming it lol. The crowd was INSANE, we sang along through the whole concert -I have vids where you can barely hear her from all the crowd singing- and it was just a very powerful show.
The online videos don't do it any justice which is sad. The outfits were also surprisingly good.
Also, I have criticised her body a few times recently but in person her body is HOT. Aside from the semi-double chin (which has almost always kinda been there) her body was pretty great and certainly nowhere near fat, chubby etc so I apologize for calling her that.
Now on to the negatives:
-The production was cheap as hell. Even if she had nothing behind her the show would've been the same. Absolutely bad.
-It was a stadium show. No catwalks, rising chairs, inflatable stuff etc. Also, the lights were nowhere near as good as they look in arena shows.
-The wigs serve dollar store teas.
All in all, a GREAT show. 4/5 from me. For anyone on the fence, GO NOW!
Aaaaand she's sick of it again. She sounded so hateful singing it on the BTWB as if she wished she had never written it. The first few months of artRave it sounded really good but now I guess she's bored again.
I thought it was just me who felt this way! She screams her way through it like she's so sick of this 14.5M WW seller
