I know that whenever one genre comes to dominate mainstream music, songs that don't fit the mold will sometimes become unexpected hits as a sort of mini-rebellion by audiences feeling left out. But how is it that "Tonight Tonight" became that battle cry for pop-rock fans sick of all the dance influences dominating radio? It sounds like a "TRL" reject from 2005 and it's not even remotely good.
