I actually think 2NE1's English album is going to be amazing. I have no reason to think otherwise, really. The snippets we've heard all sound very high in quality, and will.i.am is actually one of the better producers in pop (and an extremely underrated one, too, to be honest). Obviously their English music is going to be a total 180 from what we're used to from them in Korean and Japanese, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. As CL would put it, 2NE1 have a lot of colors, and the opportunity to sing in English is more than just a business endeavor. It also gives them a chance to show another side to themselves as artists. I mean, honestly: how boring would it be if their English album was set to be full of songs like IATB or FIRE? Very.
My only worry is the promotion. Somehow I see them messing it up.

Yeah. If K-pop wants to break America, they REALLY have to step up promotion. Hopefully YG learned something from the Se7en fiasco

I must say that I like Will's enthusiasm about the whole thing, it seems like he's really trying to make them "happen" WW.
& Everything we've heard so far is amazing, I couldn't ask for more. I mean, he could be a mess at times (Nicki's Check it Out, Britney's Big pile of **** Fat Bass). The snippets are far better.
