In regards to a new Ke$ha album, I bet that **** isn't coming out for a long time. She clearly has some career issues that we may never fully know about and judging by her recent tirade against Luke with Rolling Stone magazine i'd imagine he and the label are not too pleased with her. The next album will be a definite struggle.
On a side note, Timber's success isn't a reflection of how she could do next era at least not really. Its evidence that she could still be popular seeing as without her the song wouldn't have gone Top 10, I mean unless it had Rihanna or some other obvious chick, but I digress. If her next album sounds anything like Timber I wouldn't be here for it in the slightest. Timber is ****ing wack.

Yeah, I was joking. Ke$ha's flop was more of an underperformance in comparison to Animal, yet Legend X's were massive flops. At least Die Young went #1 and C'mon and Crazy Kids were moderate hits.
As for how long we're going to have to wait for the album, no one can be really sure if it's going to be a long time or sooner than we expect. I mean it's already been a year since Warrior, and the massive 2 year gap between Cannibal and Warrior was what killed most of her momentum... "Timber" is something that Ke$ha didn't have between Cannibal and Warrior (TTWE Remix wasn't that massive), and hopefully it will carry some momentum and make the wait seem shorter than it really is. But if they do another Q4 release, then it'll be like Warrior all over again I feel. They need to put the new album out in late Q3 at the absolute latest.
