Their own site says otherwise. Even if it was released, it was removed. They obviously don't see it as a cover.

yeah, it was removed by sony (or whoever) cause people were trading the song around. they fully gave it to RCA it seems, but it's still a cover of their original song. it was not a demo. that's what i'm trying to say. it was released, it was played on shows, etc.

I even think the band sent an email to someone from pp asking them to remove the song on youtube.

It doesn't matter. I don't see it as a cover, and that's about it. And i don't see myself pointing out to someone in the future when asked about it.. i can't say oh Try, the huge P!nk hit? Oh yeah she covered that, so not really hers, if you know what i mean.

We should be happy she didn't pull a Beyonce and changed 3 words in it, in order to make it hers.

i do know what you mean. she made the song her own. that's what she's good at. i'm just saying that it doesn't change the fact that it's a cover. the original is still a banging amazing song. and if people asked me what her best cover songs are, i'd name try among them and yes, so glad she didn't claim ownership and pulled a beyoncé just cause she changed "she" to "he"... that would be just mean to the people who actually worked on the song. bad bee, bad bad bee!

If they don't have any official albums and never even released it as a Single, I don't know how it is a cover. People do demos or even finished songs all the time and then sell the song.

For example, Kelly Clarkson gave Tell Me A Lie to 1 Direction. Her version is on YouTube and everything but its now a 1 Direction song.

I Do Not Hook Up was Katy's and was given to Kelly. It is now Kelly's song.

It recently came out that Leona Lewis recorded We Found Love before Rihanna did. It was in the end given to Rihanna. It is Rihanna's song.

What makes this any different? I don't care if they recorded the song, performed it live or whatever else. The song was sold to RCA and given to P!nk. It is now OFFICIALLY P!nks song. They didn't give P!nk permission to cover the song. They actually gave it to her
