the Trump Effect." An informal study of public schools conducted earlier this year that shows that bullying is increasing in schools as racial/ethnic tensions surge. And teachers don't know how to deal with it because they're supposed to be nonpartisan.
This is really alarming and chilling to read.
It will probably be even worse when school starts again in a month or two, too. This survey was done before Trump had even secured the nomination—and the upcoming debates will add more fuel to the fire.
The Democrats should run with this. Our children were one of the biggest talking points of the DNC. There's already evidence that Trump has had a negative effect on children, and it would only get worse if he was president.
