-Dark Horse hits 1 billion views on VEVO. A thread was opened. Then, several days later, it hits 1 billion on youtube. Thread was never closed in that meantime

-Blank Space hits 1 billion views on VEVO. A thead was opened. Then, several days later, it hits 1 billion on youtube. Thread was never closed in that meantime

-Roar hits 1 billion views on VEVO. A thread was opened. Then several days later it hits 1 billion on youtube. Thread was never closed

-Bailando hits 1 billion views on VEVO. A thread was opened. It still hasnt hit 1 billion on youtube and the thread is still open after 2 days.

-Shake It Off hits 1 billion views on VEVO. A thread was opened and closed in less than 2 hours. Reason?: it has to hit it in youtube. Which doesnt make sense considering none of the others were ever closed.


My suggestions:

1) We get the rules changed so other people are allowed to do the same that was allowed multiple times already

2) We get the mods to check all the "1 billion" threads because not all popstars have that pressed hater that reports the thread 3 minutes after it is posted

I think it's time to get rid of video milestone threads altogether. There should be one "most viewed videos" thread in Charts that someone keeps updated. Big milestones can be celebrated in there.

Don't agree. I think the billion milestone is still cool enough to get its own thread


We should ditch the 500m milestone threads now though.
