how the hell can Poker Face sell so much? Circus has much more airplay, is a very catchy song and top 10 is unjoinable for it.

Circus already went to #1 on Itunes for 2 weeks and was Top 10 for several weeks and has sold over 1,400,000+ digital downloads already......

"Circus" was already #1 for weeks, and Top 10 for months. "PF" is a new single...and it's rising on radio, so that is why it's higher.

What about different new eras starting up this year from big name artists? JoJo, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers (God help us), Green Day, Coldplay, Lil Wayne, Daughtry, Shania Twain, etc. I'm predicting we're going to see many songs go over 200k or even 300k, maybe even 400k this year!

lol i think your going ahead of yourself, yes debut songs are getting huge, but overall digital sales are still going up at a steady but normal pace, we wont see any christmas 1,000,000's especially when last christmas #1 didnt match the #'s of the one the year before...

In contrast, 2007 had more singles to buy during Xmas. 2008 didn't. 2009 could have plenty of wanted songs.

well as a whole, 2008's christmas chart had ALOT more songs break the 300k and 200k barriers than 2007's and sales as a whole were up quite a bit compared to christmas 2007, its just the #1 song in 2007's chart was more popular then Just Dance was at the time...
