This is the one guy who, of all people endorsing her, is not some normal "Clinton establishment" endorsement. He actually doesn't even like the Clintons that much. He just put his personal feelings for them aside and wanted to endorse, in his opinion, the democrat most ready to lead this country that is running

I'm glad now that Hillary lost in 2008. I think that her loss, her experience, her opportunity to be Secretary of State, and her developments since then have allowed her to become a stronger candidate and leader. I'm not even sure she would have beaten McCain, looking back, but this time around I think she's a stronger GE candidate than anyone else in the field. Maybe stronger than anyone we've had in a long time - sure she doesn't inspire the same things that Obama or maybe even her husband did, but she's endured three decades of fighting, scrutiny, and national-scale politics, and almost five decades as a hard-working Democrat.
As long as she wins the nomination, I really think she'll take the White House.

Would have definitely lost to McCain. Only Obama wouldve (and did) beat McCain from the democratic side
