I think "Scream Queens" made them remove the campy element of Season 3 and 4 that was killing the show, because they have a separate show for that now.

With AHS: Hotel, they're back to their roots and amazing. :hyper:

I'm so disappointed...no plot/storyline, the music was meh, none character that I truly loved, Gaga did well but only because I was not expecting something great and It was really like a silent film..It was quite creepy tho.. but... I don't know.. this is the first AHS premiere that I didn't like...and it is my favourite show

Just finished watching, it was really nice, it will probably get better in the next episodes.
Gaga was great, not a professional as the others but still great.
Can't wait for next episode.

Gaga's scene with the boy was good, that's when she was less stone-faced.

Hope the story of her and the children is explored more.

You can tell she acted differently to different people.

It's kinda bugging me that she didn't immediately look up when she heard the estate agent though. She ain't deaf is she?

It was definitely better than I expected. Gaga was pretty decent and Sarah has the most interesting character so far.

Idk... I'd say just a ghost, because we didn't see her drink blood or anything like that. Maybe it'll come after, tho. But vampires seem really thirsty (see: Gaga & Matt, the children with the girl at the beginning)

All TV shows should establish what the plot is after the first episode (eg: We knew the plot of Scream Queens was there is a red devil killing people on campus and we are going to eventually find out who it is).

Hotel failed to establish the plot and that's something crucial for a first episode.

Sis I like you but you are embarrassing yourself. I don't mean to brag, but I have studied storytelling and scriptwriting and you are simply wrong or you just don't understand how a plot works.

Episode one is 1/13th of the overall story. They showed us that Gaga has some kind of a plan, they showed us that some murders are happening and someone is killing those people (we don't know who). They showed us different characters story arcs (Sally, Kathy, Matt, Gaga) etc. like
