It's like even though they don't see Criminal has already start to decline and isn't being picked up in some places after several weeks of place. The video has already been overshadowed by Justin Bieber and Rihanna. The song is just starting to pick up on iTunes, but it falls at night. no one is trying to say it's a bad song, but it is a poor single choice. People who buy singles aren't going to buy songs of an album from an artists they don't care for that aren't singles... so thus far only fans have really been indulging in non single tracks. The rest of the world probably hasn't heard BFB. You logic behind it being a fail because it's not doing as well on iTunes is not valid because it's not a single. Non fans have no heard this song, just like non fans probably didn't tune into the promo tour to see her perform. The only people who have heard the non singles are fans and they think pan flutes make a song single worthy.

A 4th single from a woman who is currently touring in the UK getting overshadowed by two lead singles? Shocking.

How about we keep it on par: Countdown, The One That Got Away, Papi, Marry the Night.....and Criminal is outperforming MANY of them and is very close to TOTGA (even doing better on iTunes).

What single # it is remains an irrelevant factor. If a song is going to do well, it will regardless. Same for a video. Don't justify it's performance be compare it to some other poor single choices.dss

Jennifer Lopez is Jennifer Lopez, and that song is terrible. "Criminal" is not that far away from "Countdown" (it's actually falling back down to where they were playing tango a few days ago), so that's an ugly and useless argument. Katy's song almost eclipsed "Criminal" on iTunes with less radio/no video, before "Criminal" video came out. Now it's already surpassed it on radio and is Top 100 without a video, so that's going to another useless argument when her video releases and goes zooming into the Top 10/20..
