Wow this really drives home just how much better of a lyricist and melodist Katy is than Taylor is.
Katy's prose is so naturally relatable and just so real, while Taylor's just reads like a seventh grade English poetry assignment, jotted off to make a deadline and sound meaningful rather than to express any sort of genuine sentiment.
