If they can manage another really big radio hit with the next single, I think they should just draw this era out and release her next album in 2017. I think an extra year in between and some really concentrated effort could produce her biggest album, and 1989 has tons of steam left. If they manage another fairly big hit that can extend into this holiday season...
Kinda hope they do a re-release tbh. With some tracks that didn't quite make it. Like that 'Battle' song people know about and have heard snippets. Sorta like the Platinum Fearless re-release.
Luckily for Nick, close pal Taylor Swift has been on hand to advise about matters of the heart.
'She's a very good friend with a lot of good opinions and an awareness of how things work, which is helpful. It's always good to get a girl's perspective,' he says.

I think she has at least one big radio hit on lock at least. The next single will go top 10 on Pop (in the worst case scenario) and then she could get a top 20 after that for the sixth single that could help in the holiday season like you said.

If they do a re-release then It will be fine to wait till 2017 to release T6
i think she will release in 2016, if she did it with Speak Now (the fearless era lasted a lot, in early september 2009 YBWM was #1 on pop radio and #2 in the hot 100, she did a re-release after that, she performed at the grammy's, got all the backlash and release a soundtrack song) but we'll see
