McCain is hated by every Republican I know. His base is the independents and the moderate liberals I like McCain (and especially Flake), and I think his swing with independents might make things really hard here with Trump

I just don't see Bernie running ever again even if Trump somehow wins. Given the initial goals of his "movement" I imagine he would be a bit satisfied at this point.
