President Obama better not endorse anyone until the convention
It wouldn't make sense for President Obama to wait that long to endorse a candidate. It wouldn't be fair to Hillary. The rules are that you have to reach a certain threshold to become the Democratic nominee and Hillary is going to accomplish that tomorrow.
And no, the superdelegates are not going to change their minds. Nothing that currently remains in the primary election could be significant enough for them to switch over to Bernie.
I don't think the two of them on the ticket would be a good idea tbh. It would alienate any chance that a male vice president would have at catering male voters...
She doesn't really need too much of a boost in male turnout.
There are more women than men, and turnout among women is higher, she's got minority men on lock as well, and she wasn't going to do well with white men either way.
Speaking of white men, don't forget Bernie's solid white male following that would drool over the idea of Warren.
The only thing that changed from 2008 until 2016 was that in 2008 she lost the nomination (with super delegates included) and he had no problem calling the race over and criticizing her for wanting to stay in it. In 2016 she happened to win but has a problem with the media counting super delegates and is highly defensive over anyone telling Bernie to drop out.
The reasons he uses now for saying the media shouldn't call the race is "super delegates don't count until the convention". Well guess what, in 2008 the super delegates also didn't vote at this time in June.
He's a hypocrite and clearly hates Hillary. He's not sexist though I don't believe that one bit
Sometimes, noticing the system is rigged/flawed takes seeing it happen to the candidate you support. It's not that much of a big deal, honestly.

Anyone that thinks the convention is going to be contested clearly needs to review some elementary level math. It's mathematically impossible for a contested convention to happen with two candidates.
I think Trump, in the end, is going to end up destroying the Republican party. These people are just getting behind him because they want the GOP to take back the WH. They clearly don't understand that ALL this mess, them supporting a racist, sexist, xenophobe is going to tarnish a lot of their reputations.

I also happen to agree with Marvin. I don't think Obama should endorse until it's evident that Bernie plans to drop out. And at this point it doesn't look like he will (or there are mixed signals so it's not certain)
It will only alienate Sanders' supporters who already believe the system is rigged and until Clinton gets the OK from the FBI I don't know if it'll be the best option to endorse her at this time. Clearly Obama doesn't agree with me though haha

No but until there's an official nominee or only one candidate left in the race I don't think he should be trying to influence (Democratic) voters. It won't look good to voters that are already fed up with the system. He should AT LEAST wait until June 15 (day after DC primary).

Mainly with the FBI investigation still going on, I think it's too risky for Obama too openly endorse Hillary at this point with Bernie still having an active campaign. He should obviously start campaigning against Trump, but for a candidate is a bit much at this point.

Obama is obviously rooting for Hillary but there's no need to risk angering supporters that are already fed up with the process.
