It's pretty clear she was trash from half a decade ago when all fans could see it wasn't ever going to work with blackground. They should have been looking for a way out then. The fact that the contract had essentially expired in 2011 yet they only figured this out in 2013 is criminal. If she had come back out in 2012 after Marvin's room, she could have done great. Even then, her tracks were all getting millions of views on youtube.

Seems like the plan is videos, radio, promo, tour, overseas, 2nd single, album. I can't see an album before 2016, and that's probably best for her sales.

That´s just my guess. I have no idea, really.

I think she did mention the album coming this year so I´m probably wrong. And perhaps she meant she´ll go overseas after it. The problem is that she needs a hit and even if When Love Hurts ends up doing decently and giving her a simple top 40 or something, I think Good Thing is the song that has the potential to make her stand out. If she is seriously going to shoot 3 videos and she still hasn´t sent WLH to radio, there isn´t really much time to fit a second single and album into 2016...

I guess she's trying to get as much exposure as possible and touring will accumulate old & new fans who will then be perched to buy the album because they know she's back; meanwhile her music is playing on the radio; idk Tori kinda did the same thing, released a single, went on tour and the album dropped while she was on tour and it did great first week sales so
