Well... it was much better than last year... still not saying much. I did like Spears winning Female Video. Did she deserves all three? No. But when you look at the nominees it was not a very good year for music videos. Plus she was the better choice in Pop category. As for Video i wanted The Ting Tings.

- Britney opener... dissapointing, blah. Not very funny.
- Rihanna's "Disturbia" mediocre.
- Lil Wayne, excellent, woke me up.
- Aguilera, great but obviously Lady Ga Ga rip-off.
- Best Performance: Pink, just fun.
- Poor Jonas, insuled to the max by Russell
- Best New Artist Tokyo Hotel? They have an amazing fan base.
- Kanye.. great but weird? Still very good.

Gosh, if they stuck to the same categories last year could of been excellent.

I don't understand why people can't lighten up and realize it was the VMA's. It sounds like the Jonas Brothers took offense but I found it hilarious that Russell suggested they turn those promise rings into **** rings. Just because someone doesn't wear one doesn't make them a ****! But the Jonas boys deserve props for their morals. Making love is not a sin, though.

p.s. I thought this year's show was excellent comapred to last year's...a huge improvement!! The "Disturbia" performance was a let-down and Lil Wayne looked like a clown, but overall the performances were all top-notch. I was hoping Katy would have had a more official performance though.

LMAO. I just watched Rihanna's "Disturbia" performance. wow. Incontestably dreadful. The Zombies, live band, "Seven Nation Army" sample and the entrance were all great but what makes this performance unwatchable? well, Rihanna herself. God! She did some of the WORST vocals I've ever heard in my life. She couldn't hold a note, off key for the most part and just very screechy, besides her ZERO stage presence and actual performance. She raped the song. God bless Auto-tune and Jay Z!

And what's with the "rocksta" and "edgy" image? Seriously, sit the **** down, Rihanna. You're not p!nk.
