The lowdown: Gaga’s piano ballads have never gone over particularly well with her fans, which is rather baffling, since they are moments when she not only lays bare her soul, but her talent as well. This showstopper finds Gaga channeling the pain of her post-surgery drug addiction into the universally relatable agony of loving someone you know is wrong for you. Thoughtfully written and performed with devastating rawness, it deserves to be remembered among the best of her discography.

"I'm not sure if the vocals, lyrics, or production is the worst part of this song," JakeKills said. lovesong suggested she hire a co-write for her next album.
