The only airtime Justice ever got on MTV was that First Look on TRL, so aside from the Kanye controversy and special effects, I don't see why it's nominated.

I haven't paid much attention to videos in the past 8-9[?] months, but I really enjoyed both Incubus videos from Light Grenades. MTV has ignored Incubus ever since "Megalomaniac" was restricted to nighttime viewing because of it being a supposed "attack on the Bush administration". Stone Sour's "Through Glass" was pretty creative, but obviously, MTV could care less about what's creative and what's not.
Those, AFI, +44, NIN, Evanescence, MCR, etc. deserved something, regardless of their airtime on MTV.

Have you seen the Justice video? It's amazing and well deserved for Best Video of the Year category. Overall, the new categories are complete utter ****, especially the monster single "awards".

Haha, yes, I mentioned the special effects because I've seen the video. It's cool, but since when did MTV have that video in rotation? Even though the only video blocks are when people are dead asleep...
