He sent me a text about how he is kind of homophobic.

And this is someone I like and I try to be friends with more. I sent him this on Myspace. This is kind of personal to me, so judge it like it is. It's from the heart. I seriously love Matt. Don't tell him that though....shhhhh.

Who's being an asshole to you? And Matt seriously. Since we won't do this the text way or even verbally, are you truely scared to be friends with me i.e. hang out with me cause I like boys over girls? Like you said, that's life. I never chose to be this way. But if one think you must know, I would never take advantage of the situation. I respect you and your beliefs, ways. I just want a friend. And that's why I like you. You seem like a great person to hang out with. Now c'mon, we've had this discussion before. I claimed this to be a disease. You told me it wasn't. Then you text me and say you are homophobic. It just kind of hurt me.

Here's the truth. I don't like girls sexually. I don't get turned on. Second of all, I am not like most gay guys. I really don't care for the sex between two guys. I find it truely disgusting. I honestly don't want it. That's not why I'm gay. I'm gay cause I get this feeling when I see guys. You know? Like when I see a guy that I like, I feel different on the inside. Having sex with another guy is not what I want. But if it happens, so be it. That's life I guess.

I hope you understand. I would never take advantage of a friend like that. NEVER. I wouldn't do that to someone I care about. Being friends is more important to me than some stupid gay ass sex. I just want you to understand where I'm coming from Matt. I'm sorry for texting you all the time, but I'm trying to make friends. I want to talk to be people for once. Maybe even hang out once a month or something. That's why I get jealous at work. I want to be friends with all the guys there. Maybe going bowling would be fun? Or seeing a scary movie? And if we have to, sit two seats apart lol.

And if you truely are not into the homo world, I'm sorry. But I ain't like most of them. You've seen me at work, I'm a normal guy pretty much right? But you clearly told me one day that it's part of life. I don't even want to be this way. But the only other option I have is to be alone the rest of my life. Is that what I want? If so, then that's why I need friends in my life. I don't want to be all locked up in my room 24/7 wasting my one chance at life all cooped up. I should be out enjoying life. I still got a full life ahead of me. I can't be all depressed and **** when I could be clearly enjoying life.

Again, sorry. Just looking for a friend. I respect your opinion on me. I just want someone to talk to at least once a day. And even a friend I could hang out with once a week even. I guess that's too much to ask now a days. I'm done...

And Alec you say? Well after two in a half weeks of nothing, he finally texts me today. He tells me we can't talk anymore cause he moved far far away. And he wonders why I attempt to talk to him still. So I guess Alec and I are done for. I seriously find the wrong people to become friends with.

I ain't talking to Jake either, the other guy I found thru Dlist/Myspace/Facebook. According to him we can't talk much anymore because he found a boyfriend. Oh well. So be it. Friends are friends regardless if you are dating. I doubt we'll even meet.

As someone who has bi sexual/gay friends i really dont see the problem with it. If you are someone friend you want them to be happy and accpet them for who they are becase just becase someone is gay does not change who they are as a person. It so sad how so many people beleive the gay sterotype. A lot of my gay guy friend love to play video games and normal **** guys do and that does not change becase of their sexuality

^I agree with you Saba. Most homophobic people like to sterotype gays. I also got two gay friends who are currently dating (Shaun and Tom) and they are far from the "gay" sterotype. They don't talk gay at all. They don't do gay things. They just like boys. Like my case.

Most people who hate gays only think of the gay sex between them and base their opinion on gays from that. It's just stupid how people do that so senselessly. I think it's disgusting, but if it happens it happens. It happens through love I suppose. I want people to realize that and stop judging people on the outside.

It's kind of sad that people joke with their friends who are straight and call them "***/******" just for fun. It's not right. They need to stop using that term like that just because they are friends with them. And a lot of straight guys like to mimic gay guys. I know three people at my work who do it.

I think the main reason people are so judgmental is becase it is unknown to them. Now i am not in any way excusing them but some people are so close minded to the world around them that they dont see what going on. By no means was i ever homophobic but i was a little curious what it really meant to be gay and i asked one of my gay friends sat down and had a discussion and he told me about his life and what he does and i am sitting here thinking damn he just like me in all respects.


I even asked my boy Chris to take me to a gay club he has gay/ bi sexual friends also so he kind of knows place like that. He ended up calling his friend julie who a lesbian and me her and him went to the gay club, Where i meet up with julie and several of her gay/lesbian friend and it was just like your typical club people where dancing drinking and having a good time i even danced with a few gay guys and some lesbian women. People in the club knew i was stright becase i totally stood out it clear but they never for a second judged me and they welcomed me with open arms. I dont see why it should be any diffrent for a gay person they are still humans just like the rest of us

I agree completely. It's even harder for straight people to accept it when it's someone from their own family member. I "still" am not completely out to my family but they "assume" things. My brother brought it up once and of course, he only brought up the gay sex and told me how it wasn't safe and etc.

There's more to being gay than the sex. No sex is safe. You can still get AIDs and STDs from straight sex. But there is such a thing as safer sex. But sex among gays is risky also. Not is it not safe, but risky. Risky meaning like damage go your own body. You know right?

I don't see the big deal for a straight guy & a gay guy to be just friends, I try to prove to people, that is not a big deal, I have hunged out with gays/lesbains & bi's before,& I'm even related to one. It's not a big deal, & then you get questons, your gay too? just because your hanging with them, it's just stupid. I don't have a problem being friends with a gay person.

I think if many of these homophobic people just sat down and talked to them they realize how silly they are about their ways and as a human being i think that is the least you can do for someone is find out who they are before you label them
