Promo is the UK is very needed.It doesn't matter how much she sang it,promo is promo.

Born This Way is still high because it's still in top 20 in most of countries even though it doesn't have any promo WW and was released 8 weeks ago.

No. Even though some of her competition is higher than her on the Hot 100, she's ahead of them worldwide. So other countries must be helping. I wouldn't advise you to criticize a song's worldwide performance when said performance is record-breaking. Not only is BTW the first song by a female artist to debut @ #1 on the UWC, but the week after it obtained a record-breaking amount of points in a single week.

Ok guys please stop this is pointless. It's obvious that Katy's singles this era are selling way more than any other artist. But, we all know that is only because she doesn't sell much album, considering her huge single sales. Isn't Teenage Dream something like 1x Platinum US and 3x platinum WW when TF + TFM are 5x platinum US and 15x platinum WW? So there's no debate. If Katy sold as much albums as Gaga, we could compare them.

As for myself, album sales >>>> single sales. It just shows that people actually want to hear Gaga's album in its whole when Katy buyers are more casual, only want to listen to this particular song and not her album.

For now, does anybody have the % for US itunes ?

It got iTunes advertisement like a first single, & it's been in the new releases section at least three seperate times now. A video & MTV playing that video is also promotion. I've also heard it in commercials.
