Music Review: On 7th CD, J. Lo rebounds and scores

Jennifer Lopez's latest single—the international smash "On the Floor"—opens with this line: "It's a new generation of party people." And luckily the singer has taken note.
Lopez, 41, isn't the same star she was 10 years ago, when she dominated both pop and urban music charts. She struggled with 2005's "Rebirth," and was worse off with "Brave," which came two years later.
Lopez has never been a musical icon, and she probably never will be. But she is a great entertainer—and that's reflected throughout most of her seventh album, "Love?"
The Pitbull-featured "On the Floor," which has the "party, party, party" vibe that has taken over Top 40 radio, is irresistible and addictive. It was produced by RedOne, the man behind Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" and "Poker Face." The hitmaker also works his magic on the celebratory dance jam "Papi." Lopez also has future hits with the Lil Wayne-assisted "I'm Into You" and "Good Hit," a Fergie-sounding jam produced by The-Dream and Tricky.
Lopez is best, though, when she collaborates with producer D'Mile. The two songs—"(What Is) Love?" and "One Love"—were leaked in 2009, but they don't sound dated. They're biographical tunes about Lopez's love life, which includes two failed marriages and stints with Ben Affleck and Diddy. If there's something this girl can sing about, it should be love lapses—and when she does, she does it
well.
CHECK THIS TRACK OUT: Lopez's strongest vocal performance is all over the groove "(What Is) Love?" It makes her role as a judge on "American Idol" a bit more fitting.

Then you can use the complete my album option and it'll return into negative sales for OTF and IIY

It has a banner. Apparently it was itunes fault and not her labels.
It will start and move now.

Oh well, it's not like OTF really needs it right now, but the album does.

Review: Jennifer Lopez, Love
4/5
Tuesday 3 May 2011
What you need to know… J.Lo returns with her first album in four years.
First impressions…
Looking after toddler twins must be tough work – so it’s no wonder Jennifer Lopez has taken four years to release her seventh album. But will her fans think it’s been worth the wait? Anyone who’s heard the first single off the album, the chart-topping On The Floor, will know that Love? definitely has one ace tune on it. And we’re pleased to say there’s plenty more. I’m Into You, Run The World and Hypnotico are all super-catchy, while the Shakira-esque Papa is sure to get you dancing.
You’ll like this if you like…
Lady GaGa, Britney Spears, Shakira.
Our favourite track…
On The Floor.
Did you know?
J.Lo has revealed that Simon Cowell tried to get her to be a judge on the US version of The X Factor but she decided to take a job on American Idol instead.
OK!! verdict…
Love? Yep, we do!

Is nobody buying LOVE? or is there some type of glitch on iTunes? Cause I don't see it in the Top Albums.

My short review - honestly I agree with Slant. This album is OKAY, but a lot of tracks sound like recycled gaga demos. My biggest question is why the hell isn't Hypnotico on the album? It would have made a perfect single - and would of been a Dance Number 1. An american idol performance of this track would of competed with the success of On The Floor imo. No other track on the album has that potential.
My Song Ratings:
1. On The Floor (Feat. Pitbull) [ 9 / 10 ]
Pitbull is a bit annoying, but the chorus and hook certainly works is J Lows favour.
2. Good Hit [ 4 / 10 ]
Sounds outdated - don't like the sound of her voice in this one.
3. I'm Into You (Feat. Lil' Wayne) [ 5 / 10 ]
Its okay, I feel its a substandard version of Rihanna's Na, na, na, na.
4. (What is) LOVE? [ 8.5 / 10 ]
One of my favourites, J Lows voice shines and the lyrics are pretty decent. First song with real connection.
5. Run The World [ 4 / 10]
Another song I don't really care for.
6. Papi [ 7 / 10]
Definate single potential, the lyrics are trash though and I don't think the chorus is as good as it could be. Could easily be top 20 on billboard though.
7. Until It beats No More [ 7.5 / 10 ]
I don't know, listening to Christina and Kelly, then listening to J Low is a little hard. Good song though.
8. One Love [ 7.5 / 10 ]
Another nice track, I like the oh oh oh.
9. Invading My Mind [7 / 10]
Not to bad good club track
10. Villain [ 7 / 10 ]
The chorus sucks, but the verses are pretty sexy.
11. Starting Over [ 9 / 10]
One of the best on the album. Excellent Balad.
12. Hypnotico [ 9.7 / 10]
Um this is so clearly better than most of the songs on the album, I'm really not sure what they were thinking. I really think this could of mirrored the success a song like Till The World Ends.
Overall Rating 3 / 5.
Standouts
Hypnotico
On The Floor
Starting Over
Love?

I think so. It has a banner, the songs are available for purchase (I know this because I bought Run the World) & it has additional advertisement.

For some reason it won't let you buy the whole album. It says partial album. You only can buy individual songs. WTF? iTunes played her.
