So Kylie didn't even get a write-up? What kind of ultimate insult.

..........Yes.
1. Cher Lloyd (10.000)
Only one album into her career, and...-
- Massive cultural impact worldwide after the Turn My Swag On audition
- A nation captivated by her performance of Stay
- The only UK female artist to incorporate rap elements herself in this entire rate
- The only female artist in 12 years of British history to get a solo #1 through rapping
- Swagger Jagger has 33m Youtube views
- With Ur Love has 40m
- Want U Back (UK) has 37m
- Want U Back (USA) has nearly 26m
- Turn My Swag On has nearly 28m
- Even this random-ass Cher video has 32m
- She's worked with hit producers like Dr Luke, RedOne and Max Martin
- She's worked with hit-makers like Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg/Lion and BECKY G
- The Guardian named Swagger Jagger the best UK #1 of 2011
- Her 1 1/2 UK #1s (With Ur Love got a midweek #1) means she got more UK #1s in 2011 than Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj and Adele combined
- She is one of only three X Factor artists to have crossed over globally- and this is despite finishing only in 4th place at home
- She is LA Reid's priority artist
- She's performed twice on the Today Show, she's doing Ellen, she'll be doing US X Factor, she's done UK X Factor, she's done America's Got Talent and she's shown the benefits of the radio tour to all
- UK artists are now openly using the success of Cher Lloyd as a template with which they will attempt to also 'crack' the notoriously-difficult US market
- Her Sticks + Stones UK tour was 100% sold out, with critical acclaim all round
- She's released a perfume, and it's gotta at least be better than f*cking Nicki Minaj
- Her second album, given the runaway success of era 1, is here for all pop girl's wigs.
....and where is the lie?
1. Kylie Minogue- Can't Get You Out Of My Head (9.158)
Highest score: 10 x25 (jinzo, Stevie, HaHa2011, madonnas, supaspaz, backtoback, Green, Strangergab, Glassheart, superben, tell_me_a_lie, adrianbeane, airbornE, Kool_Aid_King, Sporefan, berberocka, VJoker, Chemist, boyamama, Flashing Lights, Dream, soma80, classicmainstream, Konichiwa, Ace Reject)
Lowest score: 5 x2 (JDella11, jqnetto)
A flattering picture for our winner!:
Pretty much the perfect song here, ATRL. And all things considered, you have chosen the right winner.
As I said for Rihanna beforehand, a long-lasting UK #1 is pretty much an impossibility. To cross 5/6 weeks is a complete rarity. This got 8 weeks. But considering the type of competition it was seeing off- Michael Jackson, VICTORIA BECKHAM- this was a ground-breaking feat.
I remember this being about in 2001, it dominated absolutely everything. Girls wanted to be her, guys wanted to be with her. At the time, the video was way ahead of itself. The choreo, the image, the no lack of hot guys- it was Lady Gaga before Lady Gaga even existed. It's set the bar for dance-pop ever since.
It sh*tted absolutely everywhere it was released- even the US, who have been notoriously unwanting of Kylie- sent this to #7. This was her first time in the US Top 10 since The Locomotion. In the UK, it's the 7th best selling song of the decade. In every market it was released in besides the US, it flew to #1. It's sold over 1m here in the UK. You hear that happening a lot in the US- you hardly ever get that in a nation of 60 million. Really....all around, all bases covered. This is pop.
Jinzo's verdict: 10
It's the absolute pinnacle of female pop in my opinion, this song. There's not a flaw to be found anywhere along its inception and release. A good winner, guys! Well done.

Only the second double winner, I believe, after "Like a Prayer."
It would have been nice to see something else (namely "Pure Shores") have a shot at victory, but "Can't Get You Out of My Head" is flawless and deserving.
Awesome job, jinzo! This rate was hilarious and so much fun.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! It was a ton of fun to host this. Who knew the Internet had so many unflattering pictures of artists?
I might do another rate in the future. I'll put my thinking cap on.

Great job with this rate jinzo and thanks for hosting it! It was very entertaining. I still think Cher Lloyd is trashy though.
