Now Trump's even being sued by those Freedom Kids
The USA Freedom Kids—the trio that performed at a Donald Trump rally in Pensacola, Florida in January, quickly going viral—are now soon to be embroiled in a lawsuit against the Republican presidential nominee.
Jeff Popick, the father of the youngest performer in the group is preparing to sue the Trump campaign over a breach of contract after the campaign canceled on the girls on short notice ahead of a promised event. After asking the girls, who have been dubbed the “Trump kids,” to perform at a rally in Des Moines, Iowa, the Trump campaign canceled the performance only hours ahead of time, and after the girls had traveled up from Florida for the appearance. Instead of performing, the girls were seated in the audience of the rally, dressed and ready to go.
“We held up our end of the agreement. They did not,” Popick told Rare, adding “the Trump campaign did not want to pay the fees that I quoted them.” Now, Popick said a lawsuit against the campaign is “imminent.” The Iowa appearance, which was slated to be the second time the children performed on Trump’s behalf, was bankrolled entirely by Popick, he told Rare. Popick “paid every penny of every expense” for the trip, which ultimately did not end in an appearance for the girls, he told Rare in a telephone conversation.

The girls “have been completely forsaken by Donald Trump,” Popick said, adding that it is “disconcerting” that the nominee would take such action.
