Miss me with the "he could have misheard" excuse - the room wasn't full, and Bucky has a voice that impales eardrums from miles away. Jason isn't blowing anything out of proportion, he simply said it was a racist comment. AUDREY is the one blowing it all up to seem worse than it is.
but, out of curiosity, what would an "okay" joke about sweatshops be? In what situation is the deaths of millions of underprivileged children a good punchline? Never. There's never a good time, there's never an "acceptable proportion"
Becky is racist, and even more, she's a racist that can't deal with the repercussions of her actions.
It's too bad her move to Germany didn't take place in the 40s. She would have found her place quick.
