Erotica's way too uneventful and moody to be considered her best album tbh, it's great, but it's cohesiveness can be viewed in a more negative light in this case.
Ray of Light is amazing, but William Orbit's productions didn't really age well, it's a close second best to Bedtime Stories tho. I mean Frozen and The Power of Good-bye alone willl never not be perfection, life-changing artpop etc.
Like A Prayer album? Idk, but her early albums don't strike me as much as a full thought-out body of work tbh. They all have that jukebox feeling in a way. The songs themselves are golden, but they're compiled in a manner that I can't help myself just ugh it's inferior to her later albums (at least up until Hard Candy).
