I can agree with the last statement. Obvious they are one of the only genres that have held its consistent sales fanbase compared to other relevant genres of music in the entire music industry.
But I guess from my perspective the big country hits, like the big big ones, were just really big on the country side of things but it's impressive to see more country #1 singles in the Billboard top 20 in general and sometimes the Top Ten of Billboard.
