Along with this, it's also just a lot trickier for someone from the outgroup to make a
Lemonade or
To Pimp a Butterfly about a topic they lack a point of reference to.
Especially when that topic is about a religion that conflicts with a lot the social values other activists are fighting for like gay rights.
It's better to let someone well versed in that topic tackle it, artistically or otherwise. The seams are woven too intricately.
