gotta give katy credit where its due, she's very successful and I commend her for that but her music is pretty generic. Typical bubblegum pop produced as quickly as mcdonalds. But hey it's what the young cool kids enjoy now days. If you listen to other genres like r&b, country, rock, etc you would realize how generic katys music is and that's not a bad thing. I love some generic songs too but I gotta call it like I see it. Katy's music is nothing unique.
Obviously her music is very generic but it actually takes a long time and a lot of technical production talent to make
She's using the latest cutting edge software and sounds and Dr Luke's productions are really really dense, sometimes 200+ stems
