Um it doesn't appeal to many radio formats.
The reason why these rap songs go #1 is because they are played regardless of their format on all kinds of radio stations. T.I. is not Pop. He should not be played on Pop radio. Just like people would get mad if Britney was played on R&B, etc. They would say it's unfair.
That's the only reason his AI is so big. Not to mention T.I has promoted the song on VMA's, etc. All Britney did before the video was a small interview on 2100.
