Oh lord, I came in here to say the exact same thing. I've been bopping to this album the whole week. Sounds so fresh and consistent.

YEEES I'm so glad more and more people are starting to appreciate Big Fat Lie. I agree with you completely. When it was first released, i wasn't that into it. But i've given it time and after many listens, i appreciate each and every song on that album SO much. It honestly gets better with time, and i'm not just saying this as a Nicole fan. I literally have the album in my car and listen to it daily.
The whole album is cohesive, it's vibe-y, with interesting productions and great lyrics. Heartbreaker and God Of War are two of my favorites, God Of War being my absolute favorite from the album.
They are so captivating.
i hope people will give this album a chance because it truly deserves so much more. I NEED a tour for this album. I need to see songs like Electric Blue, God of War, Heartbreaker, First Time, Bang, Just a Girl be performed live and see what Nicole does with them on stage.

Exactly, except it applies more to Nicole. If others did the same thing, there would be a lot more praise. They like pushing the idea that Nicole as a bitchy, selfish person and when the truth contradicts that idea, they can't accept it. She never had a public beef with ANYONE, other than Cheryl, which was also pretty much everything on Cheryl's side. Nicole never spoke bad about her, only when she found out Cheryl was trashing her, she defended herself, while remaining classy.

You should make threads asking that in Base (but give it a rest for a bit since it's annoying people; you have to space out threads or it defeats the purpose, which is to get people to change their minds).
1) Why ATRL want Nicole to be a bitch so bad?

Nicole just needs excellent tracks and people who drag her for sh*t will shut up. That's what happened with Don't Hold Your Breath. That's the strategy for Nicole, she just need to keep serving excellent tracks and people will shut up. The problem is that Nicole keeps shelving albums and releasing flops, that's why people drag her, Nicole makes it very easy for people to drag her. For example if Nicole just released all those albums she had shelved we wouldn't be in this situation. The only thing us the fanbase can do is hope Nicole and her team will start dishing those excellent tracks and stop damn shelving albums, also follow her Instagram (I literally made an Instagram account just to follow her) and like her Facebook so she can stay semi-relevant on the internet.

The GP is passive when coming to Nicole. Even acclaims aren't enough to make the world buy into her. Although I have seen some comments on YT stating how could she have such a voice and release crappy music.. That's a good sign(I think)

I think the main reason is not to be seen as copycat. The whistle register still is for a lot of people the signature of Mariah and in a time where especially women get compared to eachother, even for having the same haircut. I think she did the right thing and it also didn't seem to fit in PCD.
I just hope she finds producers who actually don't wanna layer her vocals that much. And in the current state she is in she should def. consider to take songs that she can blow up even more in a live setting. No Right There;s or When I Grow Up's anymore.
