I don't get mad when someone doesn't like Marina. I pity them. Clearly they will never be a person of taste and distinction. And especially so if they have a Nicki Minaj avatar.

That's not true. "Valley of the Dolls" is a far better song than "Teen Idle". It's my second favorite song on the album, after "Starring Role". And now it's even better with the great "Su-Barbie-A" video.
"Teen Idle" is a complete work of genius, of course--just not as much so.
Alas, I cannot say the same for "Hypocrates". All I can imagine is that the record company made Marina include "Hypocrates" on the album over Marina's objections, so that they'd have a typical sounding pop song, just like they did with "Shampain". It was such a relief for me to hear Marina say that she "loathes" that song ("Shampain") as much as I do. And to hear that Marina loves "Starring Role" as much as I do. I feel one with Marina!
